A Direct Cremation is where the person is picked up from place of passing and taken directly to the crematory. Once the necessary forms and approvals are obtained, a cremation is performed.
The cost is $895 for someone under 250 pounds in Orange or Osceola County. (Removal, Refrigeration, Cremation, Alternative Container, Notifying State/Local Agencies & Social Security and returning remains in a sealed bag and box) + $35 Medical Examiner Permit. Death certificates ($10 each copy).
For example, if you purchase 2 death certificates, the Grand Total is $950*

Additional fees may include additional transportation and a $60 Medical Examiner Permit Fee.

A Direct Cremation with ID View is same process as the Direct Cremation with the except is you can see you loved one a final time before the cremation takes place. This is not a formal service. There is no embalming. Your loved one is shrouded in sheets and a maximum of 15 immediate family members can come to the funeral home for 45 minutes for a final goodbye. Once the necessary forms and approvals are obtained, a cremation is performed.

A Memorial Service is where the person is cremated and then a service is held at our funeral home for up to 68 people for up to 3 hours. The loved one is typically in an urn at the front of the chapel. We can also go to your local Church. (Any church fees would be added to this total).
The total cost would be $1,845 and includes everything associated with a direct cremation plus register book and a plastic urn. The $35 Medical Examiner permit fee and death certificates would be added to that total. For example, 2 death certificates would still be $20 for the Grand Total of $1,900*.
Additional costs would be a different Urn, any clergy fee, flowers and/or memorial cards.

A Traditional Cremation Funeral is where the person is embalmed and there is a viewing and potentially a service by clergy at our funeral home. This is limited to up to 68 people for up to 3 hours and the cremation takes place in the following days. We can also go to your local Church (Any church fees would be added to this total).
The total cost for someone under 250 pounds in Orange/Osceola County are $2,950 and includes everything associated with a direct cremation, rental casket, embalming, dressing, light make up, register book, viewing and service. The $35 Medical Examiner permit fee and death certificates would be added to that total.
For example, 1 death certificates be $10 for the Grand Total of $2,995*.
Additional costs would be any clergy fee, church fees, flowers and/or memorial cards.
